ArtMeant* Project is an independent editorial and curatorial platform founded by Buket Bal Soezeri in 2025 in Berikon, Switzerland. The platform develops interviews, curatorial texts, artist features, exhibitions, sticker interventions, and research-based editorial projects focusing on contemporary artistic practices and independent artistic production. Working across digital and physical spaces, ArtMeant* collaborates with artists, writers, and independent initiatives to create accessible forms of dialogue, visibility, and collective exchange. The project particularly focuses on process-based practices, experimental forms of presentation, and alternative circulation models beyond conventional exhibition structures. All content is published in English and Turkish.
ArtMeant* Project, Buket Bal Soezeri tarafından 2025 yılında İsviçre’nin Berikon kentinde kurulan bağımsız bir editoryal ve küratoryal sanat platformudur. Platform; çağdaş sanatsal pratikler ve bağımsız üretim biçimleri üzerine odaklanan röportajlar, küratoryal metinler, sanatçı tanıtımları, sergiler, sticker müdahaleleri ve araştırma temelli editoryal projeler üretir. Dijital ve fiziksel alanlar arasında hareket eden ArtMeant*, sanatçılar, yazarlar ve bağımsız oluşumlarla işbirliği kurarak diyalog, görünürlük ve kolektif paylaşım için erişilebilir alanlar yaratmayı amaçlar. Proje özellikle süreç odaklı üretimlere, deneysel sunum biçimlerine ve geleneksel sergileme yapılarının ötesindeki alternatif dolaşım modellerine odaklanır. Tüm içerikler Türkçe ve İngilizce olarak yayımlanmaktadır.
Founder & Curatrice – Buket Bal Soezeri
Buket Bal Soezeri is an independent curator and editor based between Zurich and Istanbul. She is the founder and director of ArtMeant* Project, an independent art platform.
Her practice is grounded in hands-on experience gained through galleries, museums, and independent art initiatives. She has worked as a gallery assistant, museum assistant, content editor, and social media manager, actively contributing to exhibition organization, artist coordination, and digital communication processes. In addition, she has authored curatorial texts for numerous exhibitions. Alongside her institutional experience, she continues her practice through independent platforms, seasonal exhibitions, and artist-led projects.
Soezeri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Her academic background informs her curatorial approach, which is shaped through dialogue, collective production, and an engagement with the social and spatial contexts of artistic practices.
Within the scope of ArtMeant* Project, she develops artist interviews, artist features, online exhibitions, and open calls, while building collaborations with artists, writers, and independent spaces across different geographies. Her work focuses on process-based research, editorial clarity, and creating sustainable spaces for artists in response to monopolizing structures.
