For ArtMeant* Project, the sticker is not merely a printed surface, but a mode of circulation within visual culture in public space. Sticker Selections proposes an alternative field where independent artistic production can move beyond the boundaries of the gallery space and merge into the flow of everyday life. Works reproduced across public surfaces create a moving visual network that enables accidental encounters and establishes a direct, non-hierarchical relationship with the viewer.
For ArtMeant*, the sticker space is also an experimental field of intervention and expression. Here, the sticker becomes more than a reproducible object; it transforms into a form of production that directly engages with public space, can be reinterpreted within different contexts, and continuously shifts as it circulates. This approach is shaped by the idea that artistic production can exist not only within fixed exhibition models, but also through circulation, repetition, reproducibility, and recontextualization. The sticker is temporary yet visible; small in scale, yet capable of creating subtle but effective interventions. Encountered on streets, in transitional spaces, shop windows, or unexpected surfaces, these works move beyond singular representation and become part of a collective visual dialogue.
Sticker Selections is organized four times a year through open calls held every three months. Open call announcements are shared through ArtMeant* Project’s website and Instagram account, inviting artists from different disciplines to collectively rethink alternative forms of circulation within public space.
